The Chemical and Allied Sector accounts for 9 per cent of the total membership. The sector is divided into three sub-sectors namely:
- Industrial Chemicals: Manufacturers of basic industrial chemicals including fertilisers and pesticides.
- Cosmetics: Manufacturers of soap and cleaning preparations, perfumes, cosmetics and other toilet preparations.
- Paint and Resins: Manufacturers of paints, varnishes and lacquers.
